We were excited to visit after some rave reviews, and if your only objective is to have a photo with a koala then I can somewhat understand these reviews, but we were disappointed and appalled by the conditions of the park. Birds kept it small lifeless cages in full sunlight, a pony that looks resigned to wondering around being petted... More

First as you pay the lady at the counter she could not add up &was very rude. Next was the cost of $4 per bag of popcorn & not on the diet list from (RSPCA). The train driver could not smile or wave at the children. As it was a warm day none of the birds in Metal cages could... More

I was really excited when I saw the reviews of this. When we got there, the place looked dilapidated and in need of some tlc. It has a random mixture of animals, dinosaur sculptures and a small castle. The lady at the front entrance wasn't very welcoming and didn't really give us any information about the park which is a... Old & tired venue in need of modernisation. No route map, so had to roam aimlessly to observe the different wildlife. Koala cuddles an extra 25 dollars, train ride extra 4 dollars pp. Dirty cramped parrot cages. Could not see the significance of the model dinosaurs to the park. Staff , bar one young lad,not very informative.

This place is outdated and slightly untidy but you cannot doubt the interaction with the animals is superb. Possibly there practices are a little outdated compared to modern zoo keeping ways so I really hope this place gets a new breath of life. There is no doubt there has been a lot of love there but I understand the owners... More

Sorry to say we found the park looking tired, and dirty! Some of the birds in cages had overgrown beaks, and were in dirty cages. Walking around the park, seeing the animals able to wander around was great, but in some areas the place was dirty. The pond the pelicans and ducks frequent was green, and covered in muck and... Pleasant place to visit especially if you want to have you photo taken with a koala. Outdoor animal park, not really much to see, you can feed the birds which are in cages. You can also walk around the enclosures with the kangaroos, deer, pelicans and ducks. Lots of other animals wandering around which you can feed. Overall a nice... More

Having read other reviews we thought should we really be here. However I have to say that this place is really worth a visit. It gives you a really close up animal experience. You can touch and feed kangaroo, emu amongst others and the koala experience is beyond words. Excellent!

this is a simple good fun wildlife park - you get what you get....and its not fancy and commercialised, but certainly has character. the park itself looks a bit run down, but the kids get to see animals roaming around, the train ride was fun and its all reasonably priced. good for me.

First impressions looks run down, however don't let it put you off - basic but the animals have space and look well - I paid the extra thirty dollars to hold a koala and I have to say the staff love the animals their welfare was paramount - I had to clean my hands and I was passed beautiful Ellie...
