The waterfalls were so full the day we visited and it was spectacular to see. It was raining but still we had a fantastic day. Our guide Christian explained everything really well and was very easy going. Well worth seeing this place.

This is a place to relax and spend at least half a day. The waterfalls are a must see on you Chiapas trip and I would have loved to have a couple of hours more here - as it is a great place to relax,...More

We drove our own car. Always pay only against the ticket! Never give money to somebody who has no tickets. Number of persons = number of tickets you receive. Everyone here will be trying to cheat you. Waterfalls are great, water is clean.

If you're lucky, the waters will be a brilliant bright blue! Unfortunately, it had rained and the water wasn't the famous blue during our visit! It was still impressive as we climbed the stairs along the side of the many cascades. The water foam looks...More

I went swimming in this waterfall but found the current very strong. The water was clear and comfortable to swim in. Just the right way too cool off on a hot day. Many venders with booth selling all kinds of trinkets and souvenirs. The parking...More

These falls are quite spectacular, even after rain and they are not as blue as usual. The walk from the car park to the falls is quite short. There are a series of lookout points as you walk up into the park. There was no...More

If this is your first trip to Chiapas, don't make the mistake we made, do NOT make a reservation in Tuxtla for your entire stay. Stay at hotels as you go...because the distances, though google maps shows they are short in kilometers/miles, the actual time...More

I was there after night rain and it's not so beautiful. The water was brown and ugly. The place is beautiful because of jungle around. I think it's better to come here as part of a tour because it no place here to put your...More

The falls were very pretty, but our journey from Palenque was rather tortuous due to slow roads and speed bumps.

El clima es cálido. Pero lo mas importante es las lluvias. Porque si hay muchos va a ver Aqua Cafe, no Azul. Acceso para silla es solo al mirador principal a la parte baja. Mas arriba son escaleras. Pero la vista mayor es... More

I drove my own car down --- most hotels will arrange transportation / tour to the falls, ruins etc. If you know which hotel you will be staying, check to see if they have a web site(many do) - services provided should... More
