Nice castle to visit in the Netherlands. Not easily accessible with a buggy (For children) definitely no wheelchair access and if you have a small child that doesn't walk yet, you need to carry them. However the inside is very nice and interesting. It is recently restored (120 years ago) so it is in a very good condition.

Surrounded by a typical Dutch landscape and beautiful gardens (French style) lies this impressive castle dated early 1900. The main hal is realy immense and of an astonishing beauty caused by wooden and stone ornaments. Every room of this castle will bring you in another atmosphere. Surely a place worth visiting

Not one of the oldest castles by comparison, but so very lovely to see! Inside and out, you will feel like you stepped into a fairy tale book. Definitely bring your camera; it's hard to take a bad picture. They have lockers to put your belongings in. As you travel through the castle, there are several stairs to take. There... More

De Haar Castle is a great outing for young and old. The park is stunning both in summer and winter - bring your camera. It's well worth to have a look inside the castle too, whether on your own or on a guided tour. The rooms have been furnished and in every room there are guides who can give you... More

Very nice visit at the De Haar Castle in the morning: beatiful park, nice animals (deers), nice walking tour inside the Castle. the entrance ticket is 16 Euro. the Castle was still used in the 1950's and it hosted many people from all over the world.

An interesting, picturesque castle indeed. It is a bit out of the way and expensive; and thus not for everyone.
