My visit to Kasteel de Haar was amazing, I especially enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the deer park. I visited the castle inside as well and it was very nice, though the rooms seemed quite small compared to other castles. It is a charming place,...More

Magical experience - we all loved it here. Our boys loved playing in the gardens. The maze was really good and we were lucky that conkers were out in the woods which the boys loved collecting. Lovely family day out in beautiful surroundings.

Let forget about the fact that this was rebuilt built in early 1900's on remaining of a castle built in 1300's. This castle is amazing and staff is so helpful. As it is mention in web, this is a very good example of early 20th...More

The red/white theme, the perfectly clipped formal gardens, it all feels a bit like Alice in Wonderland as you approach the castle from the carpark. The interior is VERY impressive and certainly boasts of wealth and opulence. You'll find yourself taking photos of nearly everything!...More

A very picturesque castle with huge, landscaped, well maintained gardens. Entrance costs €16 for both the castle and the gardens however I cannot say that entrance to the castle was worth bothering with as you do not see much more than is advertised in photographs...More

It is a little bit expensive for what it offers, not really for children. The scenery and landscape is very nice though, lots of gardens and flowers to look at but at least my children were a little bit anxious to get out as soon...More

Large and nice gardens and a castle. If you visited the french castles, De Haar is not very spectacular, but it is a nice place to lunch or visit if you are around Utrecht.
