Enjoy a fun and relaxed day cruising on the 'Red Boat' 14ks up the pristine Arthur River. Destination: Turks Landing, set in a stretch of cool temperate rainforest. On the way see awesome white bellied sea eagles pick up fish which the crew float on the water. Further up the river is the sea eagles' amazing nest which was built over 45 years ago and continues to nurture chicks every year. Hear a wealth of information about why the Arthur River, the only 'wild' river in Tasmania, is so unique and special. See the changes in vegetation along the river banks and learn more about the plants and animals during a guided walk in the rainforest. A hearty BBQ with salads and wine adds contentment to the day's outing before the leisurely return trip is completed at 3pm.

I'm afraid no cruises operate in winter. The river floods and is not safe to navigate. We close during June - August and resume September.
