We hired a scooter, that unfortunately had no suspension, but that did not stop us from going around, with lots of ups and downs, very steep in some places. But getting a spot to swim is difficult as you have to swim in between the seaweed farms, the boats, or walk for 20 mins to get to a beach where... More

We caught a ferry from the mainland then joined a snorkelling tour, water clarity was amazing lots of fish, unfortunately did not see a matary as promised. The ferrry trip not for the light hearted as can be very rough! Island has a lot to offer if your just want to sit and have a bite to eat, away from... More

This island is so awesome. The view are amazing. Its still virgin. Its much bigger than Nusa Lembongan. The road around the island are already fixed, however from that road to that scenic spot, the road still land and stone. But if you want comfort, you better rent a car with local driver. They can help you to arrange your... More

Our guide shared with us that this unspoiled place, however, has seen rising interest from tourists since late 2016, and multiple investors have started or signalled interest in building resorts, roads, and even... We were so glad we found this island. We chose to spend our entire week there instead of Bali. It was quiet, beautiful, and easy to get around. And overnight tourists are still rare. Diving and snorkeling were amazing, and awesome views of the cliffs and sea were everywhere. Highly recommended.

When I arrived at Nusa Penida I was really surprised at how few tourists there are. It felt like what Bali used to be which is ideal for a place to escape. I felt like the locals made a killing of the tourists as everything only had one price, no negotiation or bargaining. Since the island is so small there... More
