Good place for all ages, I always bring my family here during holidays. Planning to take my international friend here in no times.

Art galleries aren’t for everyone but there are many significant pieces here and well worth a look. It goes without saying that our national gallery would be excellent.

Allow enough time to view all the collections and special exhibitions. Was lucky enough to be there for the Hyper Real exhibition. Definitely a must see. Also you will need time to wander outside to enjoy the sculpture gardens. Great cafe and food.

Visit to National Gallery was a highlight. The gallery has changed much since my last visit 20 years ago. More modern with clearly marked exhibition areas.

We really enjoyed the works by the prominent Australian artists. However were were dismayed at the child-like and amateurish paintings that some people considered art!
