This is a building with a modern appearance which marked a change from the traditional appearance of the Old Houses of Parliament. With a great view over Lake Burley-Griffith towards the War Memorial, it has become iconic for the Australian people.

As far as I know, all other areas are open when the Houses are sitting, but the helpful staff will advise you.
