Questacon is amazing. I went twice in a month it was so good. You learn a lot and having a psychology background, some of the psychology related sciences were fascinating. This is a great place to take anyone from couples, families, and individuals alike. You learn a lot if you take your time with it and pay attention. Very hands... More

As two 20-somethings we were really excited at how much there was to do for grown ups. Science centre experiences can sometimes be swayed to be for children, but we felt that Questacon was a great balance of things suitable for kids as well as adults. Clearly we weren't the only ones as we saw many other couples there without... More

It was an okay experience. They offer lots of stations for children to explore. There are plenty to see, but nothing that it completely unique (except the drop off) to see.

Our grandchildren had been on school excursions to Canberra so we thought we'd check it out. We thought it was a bit dated, but fine for young ones with plenty of interactivity. There were no school parties there so it looked a bit deserted which meant we could look at everything we wanted to! Imagine it would be a different... More

When it first started operation in an old school building many years ago, the guides did not explain. They just introduced kids to the items, then let them speculate, think, etc. Nowadays, the guides actually help too much. Please return to a voyage of discovery.

A great place to go and learn about science and have fun whilst doing so. So much to see and do. Spend the whole day there. Plus a great coffee shop and a great shop for souvenirs.

They might say this is for everyone but really it's for kids. As adults we found it difficult to use and play some of the exhibits as their were so many kids around you felt guilty not getting out of the way. If you have kids from say 6 to 12 they will love it.
