The Telstra Tower opened back in May 1980. In its hey day it was pretty impressive. Sadly it really does need attention now. No restaurant. Cafe is ok but nothing fantastic...pre-made sandwiches etc. The gift shop is not worth mentioning .....views are great and you...More

We visited just after sunset and it was quiet with only a few visitors. A family ticket was $17 and whilst not a lot, we didn't spend very much time there. The lift was fast; the interior viewing area was a bit tired looking; there...More

It's pretty high up but it's pretty run down. What are they about here? Charging $7.50 entry is neither here nor there. For a dilapidated destination - make it free. Or spend some money on it, make it attractive, and charge $20 to get in....More

A must see when in Canberra AND the weather is clear. Decor inside is tired - may have to wait for the Telstra share price to rise again ;-) Beware of the winds when going out on the observation deck!!!

Not a bad option to visit, $7.50 entry good value. The top decks are not wheelchair or pram friendly,

Should be free. $7.50 entry for a ride in an elevator is a bit rich. That being said, the view is incredible and a must see at night.

If you want to understand the layout of the wider Canberra area and it is a clear day. Take a trip up the tower in a lift for $7.50 and you will get an uninterrupted view of everything

When we were there last week a very stiff breeze was blowing and it was 4 degrees. Rug up and enjoy the view on the outside observation deck. The indoor areas are heated and very pleasant. Enjoy your visit.

Pretty certain there is no bus service to the top of Black Mountain. Only way to get there without a car would be taxi or Uber. Some people do walk up to the top. sorry for the delay in responding.
