We had a great day at Yarrangobilly Caves starting with a self guided tour of the South Glory Cave. This Cave was huge and awesome! Then we went for a tour of the Jillabenan Cave taken by the very informative and entertaining Regina! She loved all our questions and kept us all enthralled! Then we went to the thermal pools... The caves were absolutely fantastic. We took the Jersey Cave Tour and it was soo worth it. The caves were literally full of stalactites, stalagmites and crystals. The tour was just us and the tour guide which was fantastic. It is truly a hidden jewel that most would not know. Good facilities, picnic grounds and bush walks nearby. The only... More

Recently attended Yarrangobilly Caves with the family. We spent at least a half-day exploring. the National Park staff here are wonderful. Very helpful and seem like they know what they are doing. Their passion and experience is contagious! The cave tour was just fantastic. Our guide took a small group of less than 20 people through one of the smaller... More

We visited Yarrangobilly caves in December and it was a great and fascinating experience. Did a self guided tour and a guided tour of the Jersey cave and our guide Monica was great at explaining and giving all the interesting facts about the caves. It's about 10 degrees in the caves so take a jacket and also its best to... More

My first time at Yarrangobilly caves, if you feel the cold, make sure you take something to cover yourself inside the caves as they are 8 degrees. The caves were interesting and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The Thermal pool is 27 degrees and contains magnesium, sodium and calcium. 27 degrees is not the warmest but was very... My partner and I read reviews of the caves, and decided to venture out on a cold and miserable Saturday. We had a guided tour of the Jersey Cave. We were with another couple, and it was a very intimate and beautiful experience. Our guide was super knowledgeable and had answers for any of our questions. The caves themselves were... More

Fascinating caves, a thermal pool, great little shop and, best of all, a stunning river walk. This was Australia at its finest and well worth the short trip in off the highway. Take a towel, take your time. Stay at Caves House if you can.

Each cave present their own beauty slowly sculpting each room. Unique objects with stunning colour selections. Caves were discovered during winter time.

First, a confession.... I'm easily bored, so I'm that guys who says seen one temple/cave/canyon, seen 'em all. But occasionally I'm wrong, and visiting Yarrangobilly Caves was one of those (many) times! I was road tripping past and made a decision to do a lengthy diversion to visit these caves and holy guacamole was it worth it! Sadly, I only... More

The self guided tour was great and well lit. Our guide was fantastic and wonderful with the children in our group. She got them involved and offered lots of great photo opportunities. Very knowledgeable and hands on. Our cave was full of beautiful crystals. Lots of wonderful bush walks in the area. We walked down to to the thermal pool... More
