After we got a handle on how the schedules worked, we loved the ferrys. They offer convenient reliable transportation, and nice views of the harbor.

Timetables easy to read at the wharf or google. Staff were nice when asked questions. Nice way to see the most beautiful harbour in the world cheaply.

With the OPAL travel card, taking the ferry is easy. OPAL card has a maximum spend of $15 per day ($2.50 on Sundays), irrespective of how much you travel on that day. We took the ferry from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour (as it went under the Harbour bridge)

I caught the Sydney to Manly Ferry and the views are just incredible. The worlds most beautiful and natural harbour. You will begin your journey from Circular Quay where you will see amazing views of the city then as you go along pristine shore lines, blue water and sunshine.

Instead of taking a sightseeing cruise, we took a local ferry to Manley Beach. It was a wonderful trip

You don't have to pay a fortune for a harbour cruise and this service will take you everywhere. The glamour trip is probably from Circular Quay to Manly across the heads, but there are many other route, including the river-cat to Parramatta which cover the many bays and districts around this magnificent waterway.
