Multiple possible boat trips to various destinations on Sydney Harbour and around. Cheap, comfortable and great fun and buy an Opal card like and Oyster card to use them and top up as necessary.

Easy to use and access, frequent service to most areas of Sydney harbour. Don't forget to buy an Opal card which is the new payment method, these can be purchased at nearby kiosks, hotels and shops.

Sydney ferries are the perfect way to travel and also take in the wonderful views of Sydney. They have a very good service that operates early A.M till Late P.M it changes on the weekend but all you need to do is check the schedule. I have found them to run on time and the crew are always friendly and... More

I was lucky to participate in a regatta on Sydney harbor. From the yatch I was able to take spectacular pictures of the Sydney Harbor, Opera House and Harbor Bridge. The Sydney Ferries provide equally spectacular vantage points at a much more affordable cost. A one way ticket costs just A$6,90. I highly recommend taking the Sydney Ferries for sightseeing.

Buy a single ticket from kiosk. If you have multiple transfers tap your card on and again tap when you get off. Sliding scale on prices. It depends on time of day. It was about $5.45 to get to zoo . We paid $2 more leaving Manly then we paid getting there. A reloadong card is available but if you... More

Very easy to use. Buy an Oyster card - ~tap on/off and can be topped up easily..Also use this card on the Subway and trains. The most expensive trip will be to/from Sydney Airport on the Subway!

We used ferries a couple of time while in Sydney. As with the entire transit system, they are excellent.

The ferries have their own schedule posted on different terminals and they run on time. You have to decide where you want to go and what time you want to leave then you have to make sure that you get your tickets ahead of time as the ferries don't wait for anyone. If you are even a minute late as... More

We took the ferry across the harbour at night to see the Opera House and Harbour Bridge all lit up from the water. We took the Kirribilli/Neutral Bay ferry from Circular Quay...it's only a short trip with a few stops but we had the best views of the Sydney icons. Congratulations to the deckhand who offered to take photos for... More
