This is a lovely area to stroll and enjoy a vast number of restaurants and a shopping center as well as the zoo and aquarium. Lovely in day and night and the marine museum is an added bonus

Darling Harbour has a little bit of everything. Plenty of places to grab a bite or visit Madam Tussauds, the Maritime Museum and many more close attractions. The skyline is amazing and even better at night.

Very nice, lots of restaurants and thing to do. Madam Tussaud’s, wildlife adventure and an amusement park. Great family outing. There is a single level mall with a Hard Rock Cafe and some outside eating.

Visit Darling harbor during evening or night time. The energy is something else. Even though it gets crowded, I felt like I was walking and sitting alone. The view is spectacular with the skyscrapers night lights.

Brand new and full of everything you need: pubs, restaurants, gelateria, gardens... Perfect place to walk, or to meet with friends, to have a good brunch or a glass of wine in the evening... A must do in Sydney!!!

I agree with first response, you can walk (30-40) min but take the ferry for the best views of the bridge. The bridge is adjacent to central Quay, darling harbour is further inland and bridge is not visible from there.
