The harbour was obviously very busy and crowded for the 10 minute display. Well worth walking around the harbour over the bridge. Personally the restaurants were heaving and we ate elsewhere beforehand.

Probably didn't help that it was Lunar New Year AND a weekend but the promenade was packed and all the bars and restaurants over-priced and crowded.

I agree with first response, you can walk (30-40) min but take the ferry for the best views of the bridge. The bridge is adjacent to central Quay, darling harbour is further inland and bridge is not visible from there.
