A family of three generations decided to spend a Saturday night at Sydney Darling Harbour; fireworks display is on every saturday at 9 pm. This public venue is full of excitements for everyone including casual and fine dine eateries (sea food and steaks),

I agree with first response, you can walk (30-40) min but take the ferry for the best views of the bridge. The bridge is adjacent to central Quay, darling harbour is further inland and bridge is not visible from there.
