As a Christmas present for my husband, I got us tickets for the Operas Greatest Hits. Though the opera was on at 5pm and it was a beautiful sunny day, it was amazing to be sipping glasses of bubbly rose and listening to opera. There was a great selection of songs chosen and the MC who was also the pianist... More

Beautiful Views, Plenty of bar's with good night life. Always great atmosphere here, Prices bit expensive for drinks/Food but you’re paying for the view which is worth it. Loads of boat trips available around the harbour which I would recommend. Great Photo opportunities and so worth a look up close.

This is a must visit. You should not miss visiting the Opera House from inside-if you do, it would be like not visiting the Eiffel Tower while in Paris. There are excellent guided tours. It takes more than an hour to cover. You might see people practising inside the Opera ( there are two theatres), your guide will tell you... More

This is a remarkably interesting venue to be guided around. You will see behind the scenes (including likely see stages being set up), learn about the controversial and interesting history of the building and catch remarkable views of Sydney Harbour from the various angles available from the site. Don't hesitate to enjoy this iconic place by going on a tour.

I made the pilgrimage to this place several times during my 17 day stay in Sydney. I went the day I arrived so I could gaze at it and explore. It is so breathtakingly beautiful. I went again four days later for the tour inside. So worth the walk and the price. I loved seeing some of the theaters, learning... More

World famous place and well worth a look up close. Great photo opportunity and also well worth going on a harbour cruise to sail past it and get more photographs. Much prettier on the outside than the inside!

We were here to see DanTDM, what an amazing building. The sound quality as you would expect is outstanding. The food and drink is very overpriced, but again I guess you should expect that. There is plenty to see at the opera house without actually having to do a show.

The place was beautiful covering the absolutely fantastic views of the harbour bridge and the city. On new year's eve this place was buzzing and got lit up literally with firecrackers

The Opera house is an amazing place to visit. The information gallery gave you a good insight into how the 'house' was made and the length of time it took to build. I did not realise that the building took so long to build. The structure itself is far bigger than it looks. We walked around the building on a... More

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park.
