Gone are the days portrayed so graphically in " Underbelly". It's run of the mill now. Pleasant enough but nothing outstanding. Lots of restaurants, pubs and entertainment. But not a destination in itself.

Once a vibrant, active and titilating area is now just a memory. The clubs, nightlife and variety of street scenes and people are essentially gone...some might say it has been cleaned up... But what a loss for the tourist industry and the tourist dollar. Small...More

Snd that's a good thing. Gone is the late night violence. Still has all the allure of iconic watering holes, Shows, clubs and pubs. Plenty of great places to eat ans enjoy a beverage with friends. Jump on a train get off at Kings X...More

Come see the local market near the fountain, they sell and showcase some yummy foods and fresh produce

Travelled here just to say i had experienced kinga cross. To my surprise it was actually a nice clean place. It was day time very busy and lots to see. Worth a trip to have a look at.

A lot cleaner and safer than it used to be. This is a great place to explore especially if you want somewhere interesting to eat or drink.

Here is where the most backpackers go to spend money in a couple of hours. It's a good place to hang out and enjoy yourself at nighttime in the pubs in this neighborhood.

Vern was in this neighborhood at age 20 on a R&R leave from the Viet Nam war, since he didn't remember it, we had to come look. It's a lot tamer now but still has its points. The happening spot in Sydney
