I have been to various Botanic Gardens around Australia, and this one is my favourite. I make a point everytime I come to Sydney to walk around the Botanic Gardens. Everytime I come, I find something new.

We walked through the city on our recent trip, past the false worl od television at Martin Place and towards the Botanic Gardens. Once you have crossed the busy street to get there and entered the majestic gardens you are in heaven. A lot of...More

Good for picnic, walk, sports etc. Lots of lovely blooms in spring, and the walk next to the water has very good view of the harbour.

A fantastic place to walk and take in the indigenous plant life of Australia and beyond. Well laid out with regular exhibits and a cafe in the center. Fantastic displays of flowers and trees in both formal and informal areas. Formal ponds and a small...More

The amazing gardens which are on the beautiful Sydney Harbour are pristine, clean and immaculate. Easy clear walkways throughout. This is a free attraction and has other smaller exhibitions throughout (fernery)

These gardens are beautiful and easy to stroll around. Bright coloured birds are a chirpy addition and plenty of lovely fauna. It looked like they were working on a new display which looked good, opens the end of May I think. Amazing views of the...More

I visited these gardens every day of my 4 days in Sydney & saw something different each time. There are beautiful old trees, rose gardens, shady walks, sunny walks, a fernery, a greenhouse & plants of every description,

The birds are hysterical. They are everywhere and so fun to watch. The park has some amazing scenery and the path all my the water is a great walk. It's definitely worth spending an afternoon exploring the gardens.

The wonderful landscaping of Royal Botanic Gardens on Sydney Harbour is a must-see for garden lovers. Such a picturesque setting to wander in for a few hours - loved it!

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
