Enjoyable stroll through well kept gardens with many Ibis, white cockatoos and Australian magpies. Great views of the harbour bridge and a good cafe.

Simply stunning . A must do for every visitor to Sydney. Walk from Sydney waterfront through park to the leafy suburb of Potts point.

It's quiet place in the middle of a busy city. The gardens are vast and well mantained. There are plants from all over the world. Some events and functions are generally going on here. Plan your trip ahead so that you have plenty of time...More

The Royal Botanic Gardens are a tranquil and idyllic spot in central Sydney. They are a great place to unwind and/or start a walk towards the Opera House and The Rocks. The NSW Art Gallery is around the corner too.

Views of the Opera House and the harbour. The gardens are just stunningly beautiful and there are plenty spots for picnics including shaded areas under trees. Love the Riyal Botanic Gardens in Sydney.

Very different vegetation in a natural set up. The signs were saying it all. It seems people are stealing these plants and flowers. They have put signs to show they were serious to keep the place intact. There were tons of interesting plants, flowers and...More

We went to these gardens 5 or 6 times during our 10 day stay in Sydney. I thought it would be a one time visit kinda place but I was so wrong, there's so much to see, and the collections of plants are really impressive....More

You get excellent views over the harbours, towards the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Lots of places to rest on expansive lawns. The place is usually full of tourists but still does not feel over crowded. But those looking for a botanical experience...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
