Lovely views from many vantage points. Public ferry is a great way to see the harbour just get an Opal Card and be prepared because public transport ticketing is most automated.

Stroll along the Darling Harbour and enjoy the atmosphere.Sydney showboat cruises are touted as memorable, but I did not find it so. Infact a simple evening cruise in the harbour, without loud music or cabaret is preferable, because then you actually see Sydney at night and not a loud cabaret. The food on board the showboat was nothing special.

Our city is a beautiful place, with the summer sun shimmering on the water it is magnificent! You can take a trip on a ferry or jump on a dinner cruise or simply wander around and look at the view

Between the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House - the views are amazing. I would stay away from the restaurants in that area, but for a walk around the harbor - it is a beautiful place.

There's nothing better than being on the harbour in Sydney. Catch a ferry to anywhere to view the city from the best vantage point.

An absolutely gorgeous place to visit in any weather (and we'd know it poured with rain the first day we got here!!) there's so much to do and the people on the whole are really friendly (though don't break the rule by walking on the right... they love telling you about the walk on the left side rule!!)

Incredible sight, just beautiful skyline and architecture. Had the pleasure of experiencing these views during New Year's Eve.

Sydney as you would expect has some fantastic photo opportunities and there is lots to see and do in and around Sydney. For the city itself, 5 days is enough to be able to casually go around and see everything although you can do it a lot quicker if needs be. The gardens and parks are beautiful with the city... More

I have lived in Australia for 22 years and I still love harbour views, especially of Circular Quay, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

Great place. Loads to do and see. Go on any of the ferries. It's inexpensive and let's you see loads. There is an aquarium also which is well worth the visit. The botanical garden is close and the Opera house. You can sit and have cocktails or a beer and watch the world go by. Great eating places for a... More
