Omg, this market is amazing, it is huge so make sure you rest up day before to reserve all your energy. Lots of good cheap bargains, heaps of clothes, shoes, CDs, labels, dvds, lingerie, hats, jackets, makeup, sunglasses, all types of food, drinks, seafood, desserts, cakes, furniture, everything all at one place. I enjoyed this market and was happy at... More

It is said to be the oldest market in Sydney. It includes quite a variety of food stalls, jewellery, and clothes. It also has a number of stalls with different items such as paintings, minerals, sculptures and more. I went with my wife and kids and we all a pleasant time.

This community market is open every Saturday from 10 am. There are many stalls, and the day I went it was so windy the sellers had trouble keeping their tents / umbrellas grounded. Expect to buy quality and unique items at Paddington Markets. The succulent aromas of cooking food can be had, also. I particularly liked the German Pretzel stall,... More

We had a great time mingling in the streets with locals buying food and tourists buying anything from jewelry to didgeridoos. It was our first day of a two week trip through Australia and I couldn't buy much because I would have had to schlep it through airports and hotels til I left. But I would definitely have lingered longer... More

I went into this market expecting something akin to some of the worse stalls at Paddy's Market, eg: mass produced phone cases, tacky souvenirs, etc. Instead, Paddington markets are an oasis of creativity and individuality amongst a sea of disappointments. No two stalls were alike, and the food on offer was as varied as everything else. It was a joy... More

This is one of the best outdoor community markets that I've been to anywhere. I always visit when I can visit Sydney over a Saturday. The main thing is that you get a sense of the community, people who are making things from Australia. Yes, there was a German guy selling trinkets from China (I bought a set of cufflinks)... More

These markets are fantastic, full of unique and quirky items from local designers!!! The live music is great to listen to as you sit in the courtyard and have some lunch, well worth a visit.

I loved this market so much I wished it were twice as big. Lots of handmade things, like jewelry, soaps, and other crafts. Prices seemed reasonable overall; I got a cocktail ring for $10. Also plenty of delicious food choices and coffee, although it's not easy to find a place to sit and eat. It's on the grounds of a... More

Enjoyed the Paddington markets. Lots of lovely artisan stalls- jewellery, clothes, art work, leather bags, handmade soaps. The authentic food stalls are great- we had Himalayan, delicious :)

What fun, what a great feel, great selection of stalls. I liked it. Good food, quite good variety, a few clothes stalls were really expensive and not very 'market' level but the rest was great. Coming back again next week!
