Everyone we talked to when we moved to Sydney said this is a "must." But it is pricey, so we knew we'd only do it once. Halfway up, though, we decided once may not be enough. It is an amazing experience. We felt very safe, climb is easy, views are incredible and the whole experience was very professionally done. Our... More

Amazing experience! Everyone visiting Sydney should do this. The views are incredible and you're guaranteed fantastic pictures from the team. Be sure not to drink before the experience as you will be put in front of a breathalyzer prior to the climb. The staff is very friendly and the tour is very safe. I was particularly impressed on how our... More

The bridge climb was the last thing we did during our visit to Sydney, and it was quite a nice way to finish off. The whole experience is very well organised and they have quite a nice build up to the actual climb. Our climb leader Hailey, was very friendly, cheerful with an amazing knack for remembering all our names.... More

First of all, yes, it is not an inexpensive event. Plan ahead and do some research to find the best price. Compared to the cost of possibly our only trip in our lives to Sydney from the States it was a must-do. I would have truly regretted not doing this great event and based on my experience I would recommend... More

Been planning our honeymoon for months and this activity was one we had the top of our list. Got there for our scheduled twilight climb only to find out that my three month pregnant wife needed a doctor's note to do the climb! Wish they told us this before we left the states!!! They assured us a trip to a... More

Most professional guide able to inform travellers of the different land marks to be seen from the different landing on the way up and back. All safety equipment in good working order and instructions simple explained.

The only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is that it really is very expensive! For 2 adults to do the climb is over $500 ..... and then they try and charge you for some more photos at the end..we stuck with the 2 we had included which was a shame as there were some good photos, but enough... We had such a breath taking view of the city and were lucky enough to catch the supermoon that day! Would highly recommend! The beginning is the scariest because of the narrow steps, but I always felt safe,...our tour guide was there every step making sure we were all ok and enjoying our climb! Worth every penny!! Would highly recommend... More

We did the sampler walk and we're so glad we didn't do the full walk! It was really scary and I didn't know that I was so scared of heights. It's a must do if your not a wimp!

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
