This part of Sydney is always busy and it's hard to find good value when dining out, We went to a matinee concert at the Opera House and dropped into this place for dinner. As the name suggests, it focuses on seafood(there are meat and veggie options too). We went for the seafood platter($95).This comprised of prawns, musells, freshly schucked oysters and... More

$5 for a small coffee is really a bit rich for my blood. Add on 10% weekend surcharge and really it is beyond a joke. Still - beautiful waterfront location and perfect for people watching... Just expensive!

Opted for the $26 prefix. Check out the choices for meals and drinks. My wife ordered fish and chips with champagne. So worth it

Weekend pitchers are $19, by far the cheapest I've found in town thus far. The view of the Harbour is very nice as well. Friendly staff and good food round this place out as a must stop while on the Quay.

As mentioned in other posts. The staff were disinterested and really could not be bothered. We were a group of three women, quietly enjoying the view. I asked for 3 glasses of House Sauvignon Blanc. Cue, rolling of eyes by the girl behind the bar. Same happened every time we ordered. We said please and thank you and got nothing... More

Here speaks an American: You must want to know how an Australian Steak Sandwich is 10x better than any American Steak Sandwich, right? You can taste the difference in the meat, which came from healthy grass-fed cows. Right there, that's a real eyebrow raiser. Meat in America never tastes this good. Then you put it on a quality ciabatta roll,... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
