Wide open spaces, awesome trees, blooming flowers, multiple lakes full of bird life, historic sites, statues, sporting fields, flat & cross country tracks, horse riding, cafes, kids play areas, moonlight cinema, tours & more. It's a special park, a space that Sydney loves & a perfect spot for all to enjoy.

Centennial Park is a gem, well a giant gem. A true park for people of all ages. There is space for walkers well separated from bike riders, there is space for horse riders too on their horses. There is car parking without nasty parking meters. There are trees, ducks, swans, water fowl in abundance, garden vistas, ponds, no loud music... More

Visited several times during our stay in Sydney. A vast and beautiful area to visit. On one occasion we hired a bike for two with a canopy and rode a designated roadway which was good. A couple of nice little cafes along the way if you want refreshment. On another occasion walked about 7-8km to walk the dog on a... More

Walking around the park is one of the great joys of living in Sydney. Most people do it in a clockwise direction but anticlockwise is perfectly acceptable as well. Great in all seasons. Agreat way formvisitors to clear the cobwebs

I LOVE Centennial Park and so do the kids. We Sydney-siders are so lucky to have a beautiful open space to enjoy those warm Spring/Summer days. It also has a kids bike area (good for learners) and you can just sit back and enjoy the open space, have a BBQ or meet friends for coffee one of the two cafes.... More

One of the biggest parks in the Southern Hemisphere. Sports fields, picnic areas, dog of leash areas, horse riding, lakes, restaurants and cafes, Centennial Park has so much to explore and enjoy. I like an evening walk to watch the sunset.

Not many places in World with views like this and you can enjoy just sitting on a bench and reading a book here. Nice cafes in park and walk into Sydney or rocks area. Plan the parking as the local underground carpark can be horrendously expensive.
