We lived at Martin Place, so we always had a great time here. Every weekend or during some weekdays there would be a lot of things to do. There would be exhibitions, musical performances, fanfare and what not. I had the most amazing time here....More

We stumbled upon this building and so glad we did. It was historical, beautiful and reminded us how many people used to work on the bank floor rather than in offices. Wander in and have a look.

Good place to have lunch. Food court with a variety of foods and menus. Seating available at the court. Activity on the plaza surrounded by retailing and other shops. Relaxing on the plaza is a pastime in abundance. Nice spot in the center of the...More

Located between George & Macquarie Streets in the CBD. Many eating and drinking options nearby. Close to public transport. Some interesting old buildings and War Memorial to see. More impressive at night time.

With channel 7 studios on one corner, plenty of sitting and walking space and Westfield shopping mall close by. This is a great meeting / reference point especially for first time visitors to Sydney.

Nice to check out the city, its buildings and get a feel for the centre of Sydney CBD, but sadly when we were there is January a good part of Martin Place was taken over by homeless people. Yes sure they have no where else...More

A great place to enjoy the old buildings of Sydney and also the new. Take a stroll up to Channel 7 and look through the window while they broadcast Sunrise.

Especially lit up during Vivid Sydney this place offers a contemporary feel. Tall offices encumber the entwined streets and the cacophony of horns from vehicles forms the silhouette of this beautiful city.

Not as interesting as it would have been in Sydney's early days, some magnificent old buildings, in particular the GPO and the older bank chambers like the CBA. Now used mainly as a pedestrian mall with many upmarket retail stores and office blocks surrounding it.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
