Went there for a talk by Ben Mendelssohn as part of Sydney Film Festival and it was a treat. A pleasant bar area, a VIP section, loads of seating, a casual stage. Brilliant venue. Great benefit being close to victoria galleries which is packed with...More

Walking past, we thought we'd pop our heads in for a sneaky look and am so glad we did. So good to see these grand old buildings preserved virtually as they were built. The Waterford crystal chandelier was a stunner. Free for a quick look,...More

Located in the middle of the shopping precinct, is this architecturally beautiful building. The steps of the hall is a very popular meeting place, before they venture on a shopping spree. Below street level, is the town hall station and a maze of up-market shopping,...More

I have a long family history with the Sydney Town Hall and the Council, so I have a bias towards this grand building. The Sydney Town Hall is a late 19th century building in the city of Sydney, housing the chambers of the elected Councillors...More

This place is so beautiful and stately, everytime I go there I enjoy the atmosphere. Catering is excellent staff are great although somewhat unfriendly at times. Recommend the venue for a big event.

It's placed in the center, in front of Queens Victoria building (commercial center). It has metro connection with 3 lines. Very beautiful building, it looks like ancient, but not so old than similar european buildings.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
