It is very convenient and right smack in the middle of the city. I would not recommend making a special visit there but if it is on your way by all means walk through it...

A very open green park with great wide walk ways. Always plenty of people going through in the evenings. The fountains so nice and clean. The seat sleepers at night would worry me if I was walking by myself.

Nothing really special here. Nice enough park providing green space in the centre of the city. Houses the Anzac Memorial and a nice ornamental fountain.

By day this is quite a busy park, but check it out after midnight and it's earily quiet. Check the trees opposite Oxford Street for the chance to meet some possums up close and personal.

Popular with morning runners, it's a nice large path of green in a very crowded/busy city. Good for visitors and business travellers.

This is Sydney's Hyde Park located in the CBD and easy access from Town Hall, St James or Museum Stations. It is spread out over a couple of blocks. There is the Archibald fountain on one end and then the war Memorial on the other...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
