My wife and I very much enjoyed our day with Sydney Out Back. Paul and Brian were fantastic guides as well as Don on the cruise segment of the trip. We learned a great deal about Australian history in general and the Aboriginal story in particular. The two cannot really be separated. The park was quite beautiful and filled with... More

Initially picked up from four seasons hotel, there were just 11 of us including the tour guide and driver which was great, makes the whole tour feel more tailored and personal. The tour included seeing some aboriginal paintings and formations, things that are not accessible by the public, which was a fantastic addition to the overall well planned tour. We... More

I visited this park today for the first time and I was not disappointed. The bushland, wildlife and walking tracks were wicked!!! Managed to see a big lizard, parrots, wallabies & some beautiful flowers. We had a picnic lunch down at Bobbin heads and it was so pretty & looked like something on a postcard. Plenty of bins and toilets... More

This tour was the highlight of our trip to New South Wales. We couldn't believe our group were the only people in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park! And only 30 minutes from the Sydney CBD. The rock carvings and cave paintings were the first we've seen. The views from the lookout were spectacular. Paul, Bryan and Rodney did a fabulous... More

This tour has everything from being exposed to the rich beautiful Aboriginal culture (sites & demonstrations), a bush walk and a river cruise with a delicious lunch. Just outside Sydney's bustling city. The tour allows one to get a understanding of how Sydney would have been for both Sydney area Aboriginal people and British settlers in the late 1800s. The... Why not travel up to Bobbin Head in the Ku- Ring-Gai Chase National Park, just north of Sydney? You could hire a car with a mapping system installed or catch a day ferry from Palm Beach for a 2 hour journey along the beautiful Hawkesbury River. I always drive, but I have been meaning to take the ferry ride just... More

Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, America Bay walking track might only be an hour’s drive from Sydney city, but it feels a million miles away. With a mixture of Aussie bushland, Aboriginal rock engravings, and a small waterfall at the encampment overlooking the stunning America Bay, this walk is one of my fave city day escapes. The walking track is just... More

One of the best things I've done in Sydney. This tour is very diverse and has an almost exclusive feel to it. Combining a breathtaking viewpoint of the coast, with examining and learning about aboriginal carvings and a cruise down a waterway surrounded by forest. Had a truly amazing day. Both informative and relaxing, would highly recommend.

I'm fortunate to have family who live near here so we visit here every time we come to Australia. It really is a little gem and has it all. Mangrove swamps, tidal lagoons, inlets, soaring hills and plenty of wildlife to boot. This is perfect for a BBQ and some great hikes too. well worth a visit.

Packed my stuff and took the car north of Sydney driving for less than 40 minutes until I got to the entrance of the park. They charge you a $12 fee per car as parking and the use of the park itself. Ku-ring-ai has a lot of things to do and for all kind of tastes. From spectacular lookouts to... More
