Circular Quay is a colorful port where ferries and cruise ships board and depart, and boat watching can be as good a pastime as people watching. While street performers entertain outside, those wanting a more cultural experience can head into the Museum of Contemporary Art where a sculpture garden on the roof is as much a view as the waterways below.

Our train from Mascot comes into Circular Quay and it was a great place from which to walk around the city. Plenty of ferries to get to the other parts of Sydney and you just need to use your Opal card to get onto them!...More

This is just plain busy. Fun, eclectic people, people watching, Opera House, wharf, “The Rocks”, shopping, eating, hotels, well you get the picture. Everything is here. With tours, at least two, three days of fun.

Loved catching ferries to other places around Sydney so Circular Quay is a must but not a place I would walk around otherwise. It is pretty crowded and touristy.

Despite all the construction, it’s a wonderful place to stroll. One hand has the Royal botanical gardens and the opera house. Then you stroll along the harbor past shops and eating areas/restaurants into you get to the ferry terminal‘s with more shops and eating areas....More

Circular Quay is a unique combination of Train, Bus and Wharf stations. If you are going on the Vivid festival season, you get a hell lot of scenic things in and around Circular Quay. Its the nearby station for Sydney Opera House too.

Point where all mode of transportation intersects in Sydney. They are building Light rail for tomorrow's Sydney. Some part of the road might be congested and noisy.
