We visited the bar and had a local on tap beer. They also have Guineas on tap and the walls in the bar are decorated with old advertising plaques which were distributed by Guiness over the years. Service was friendly and prompt. There is outside seating also.

We were meeting friend centrally in Sydney and happened upon this place. The menu was basic but the food was quite good and the service was very good. The Irish stew was a winner with our friends, and I enjoyed the chicken parma immensely. Would definitely go back as it is an affordable option when visiting the rocks in Sydney.

This is an old Irish pub with accommodations. We came here for a drink after a walk at The Rocks. Quite busy, plenty of people sit outside. Nice waiter. I think they have band performance in the evening.

Pass through this pub a few times on my recent visit to Sydney. It doesn't have the typical Irish Pub look but the live entertainment is worth a stop through. They keep a good crowd and it's a lot of fun. Just what I was looking for.

A busy Irish pub (reputedly the longest running Irish pub in Australia) under (almost) the eaves of the Sydney Harbour bridge. Enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the food. The Chicken Schnitzel was good!

Cosy pub with indoor and outdoor seating with Irish food, people and drinks plus a range of other stuff. Very friendly staff, yummy food with a good range, good pricing and great specials depending on what night you go!

I enjoy nothing better than a good beer and a great steak. I have just had both and it made my trip to Sydney. Love the young Irish barmaids as well.

Had a great Irish pub experience here. Staff were friendly and attentive with true Irish accents. The pie with mash n mushy peas was sensational. Great band to top off a great visit to The Rocks. Worth popping in for a pint.

spent some time one evening... we both enjoyed the vibe. Food wasn't too bad either. We tried to order the 'Irish Chicken Curry' just to see what it would be like, alas it wasn't available.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
