It's okay

A nice nightclub in darling harbour. Personally I prefer the bars on the water such as Pontoon and Helm bar, but each to their own

A couple weeks ago I was in Sydney for a weekend workshop, and on Sat night decided to join other backpackers in having a good night out, was given a free ticket, got the bus to Darling Harbour and went in to Home. Got some alcohol in plastic cups and enjoyed the night here, so many different types of people... More

We had ONE glass of wine in our meal but they told us we where too drunk to get in because "we couldn't speak good English". We told the guards we are from a Spanish speaking country but they still told us we should leave or they will call the police. Just RACIST because they heard us speaking Spanish and... More

Had no alcohol in my system and was not allowed entry and my friend who was a female friend by the way was. She defiantly had a few drinks and should of been not allowed entry over me. Place is sexist, who look to enter females over males over false excuses that they are drunk. Bounces better look out in... More

This is a great night club, it has number of bars inside, which when you first enter, you think the place is quiet small. DJ was amazing. Loved, Loved, Loved the Drag Queens and the graffiti on the walls.

I went here for my 19th birthday with 14 other friends on the 23/05 this year. I had pre-organised a Guestlist so that it would make it cheaper, because that's all I thought I would receive, however once arriving around 10:30 because like all clubs you are required to get there before 11pm to receive free entry. I received five... More

We went there on friday night. Paid 25$ for the entry and the club was almost empty. Also prices of drinks were very high- 9$ for a small shot. I wouldn't recommend.

Went to Home on a Saturday night with a few friends and it definitely did not live up to it's reputation. We were able to secure 'Guestlist' entry which got us in for free before 11pm ($20) otherwise, but even free it wasn't worth the entry price. At no point during the night did it get close to busy which... More

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
