Not a bad place until they realise your in a group. Michael and crew were very polite but also said they didn't like you to have too much fun. We'll find a better place next time. Thanks

Nice place, great vibe, bar service is good. Roof top bar area fantastic. Music is also great. Venue for all ages of people. Lots of little rooms to relax and enjoy a drink with out been crowded.

The atmosphere and staff are really good but we paid $18 for a nachos and it was beans and plastic cheese on corn chips, such a rip off

My husband and I slipped in to the Slip Inn to have a wee Guinness or 2. It was early afternoon so not a lot of people at the time. They had a Mexican Restaurant in the building and also downstairs and open courtyard done out in Mexican Style very pleasant find on a hot day. Just a bit of... More

Arrived at the Grace Hotel and, pardon the pun, slipped down King st towards Darling Harbour and found the Slip Inn on Cnr of Sussex St. Went in and got a Shiraz and a Pino Grigio and went out to the back garden where we could smoke after 5. The delightful lady who served our drinks came out with a... More

From upstairs it doesn't look anything special...but there is a huge downstairs seating area with a couple of bars, as well as a club below. Really cool place and a good spot on a Friday!

Love the Slip Inn and have for years. The Mexican vibe is amazing and their decorations are on point. Had some cocktails and chips/guac to start with which was all great however we found it funny the food came out straight away and drinks took 5-10 minutes to come out however there was just the one bartender on. The cocktails... More

Didn't actually realize the Slip Inn had the Mexican Restaurant within, but was pretty impressed with it. Still has the normal area with live music, and the beer garden out the back is great if you can get a table. (all booked out when we were there). Had dinner and drinks inside and it was still really great. Good food... More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
