Moderately interesting with presentations and a film describing how the school reaches and educates far-flung kids of the Outback... both in the past and present. All indoors, with restrooms, exhibits, and a gift shop.

What a great service they offer to children so far apart - they make lessons very interesting and from the video we saw the kids really enjoy them. Keep up the good work.

Spent a morning at the Air School and attended the morning assembly. The children live 1000s of miles from the school but amazingly they were in their homesteads in uniforms and really keen to attended lessons. Marvellous work done by theses teacher and such an interesting morning.

The history of the the School of The Air is very interesting. This is well worth a stop. The guides are great and very knowledgable. They started with two way radios and now use the latest technology to bring school to students in the Outback.

Personalised tours and 1 on 1 attention from the guides, a truly unique view into the worlds' biggest classroom. All profits made go back to the school to spend on the students so it's a very worth while visit.

Attended the center as part of an off-train experience while at a stop-over in Alice Springs. Interesting and informative presentation of how children living in remote areas of Australia are educated. Tour also covers history of the program and how the advances in technology have enhanced the program over the years. School holidays meant that we unable to view a... More

When we visited the school was not operating but is was amazing to see how hard it must be for the kids in the outback to get schooling. Worth the time for the visit.

gave us a talk on how the school began. Showed us the interaction between teacher and pupil. We saw the equipment used over the years and how modern it is now a great afternoon out
