Great fun for kids and a relaxing time for parents here. The free entry is a welcome relief after the other expenses of touristing in Darwin. Pack a picnic if you have the ability as there's loads to do here so kids will be amused for hours.

During school terms, the pool and water park is not open to the public on Mondays, which we only found out about once we arrived. (perhaps a sign on the fence might be an idea?) The grounds are available so if you want to have a picnic you can. We did visit this place again during the week (not on... More

You need a car but this free water park is 15mins from downtown Darwin. Couple of biggish water slides, kids water play area and a massive pool. Very clean and well supervised. How can you go past something thats free??

Excellent, free water park and recreation area for young kids. The pool has an enormous shallow area, making looking after the kids in the pool a lot easier. We were disappointed that the big slides were closed for maintenance though.

This facility is fabulous and free of charge. My 7 year old could go on all slides and was happy in the water play big bucket area. Very well supervised by friendly people, lovely clean gardens with shades tables and not too crowded. no waiting. Now open Tuesday to Sunday. slides open at 2pm. Simple cafe with coffee near pool.... We've been there with smaller children who have a ball on the small slides and water play areas and in the shallow lagoon. There are 3 larger water slides for the bigger kids. There's also a large and shaded playground and a big grassy area to burn off energy. I was particularly impressed with the lifesavers on duty. They were... More

This is very family orientated with things to do from the little ones to adults. The pool is shallow and they do have a lifesaver watching. The slides and barbeques are free and there is a shop there. Best to get there early to get a car park as it is a very popular place with the locals.

What an awesome water park for all the family & its FREE.... I wish we had similar in Queensland for Free. Northern Territory has outdone itself with all the free water parks, Leanyer is definately my favourite, I was able to enjoy the slides with my grandsons. FUNTASTIC
