River was rather flooded but we still saw plenty of wild crocs. Small boat so we were up close and personal. Guide was very professional and capable both in her commentary, appearance and personality. Huge crocs and soooo close. Great cake too back in the cafe. Not much in the giftshop wish there was more for kids to buy. Loved... More

The NT is renowned for its crocodiles and particularly its saltwater crocks. This cruise is the perfect opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat up close! Adelaide river is about an hour and a half easy drive from Darwin and is home to some superb specimens of large (did I say large!) salties as they are known. The cruise... More

We were a bit late and missed our tour by five mins...but the duo at Adelaide River Cruises were kind enough to give us a private tour as we had driven all that way and they didn't want us to go back without see some amazing crocs! It was simply fascinating....you really don't realise how powerful these creatures are until... More

Great for all local and tourist and kids and adults. Go on the smaller boats as the crocs are huge and even more scary when you are up so close.

We have been twice, with both Harry and Morgan. Slightly different trips but both "best ever". Their very professional, but still laid back approach and genuine love of their environment adds to the wildlife and scenery experience. Saw amazing things. This was as good a day out as any I have had anywhere in Australia or overseas. Took 5 friends with... More

See the crocodiles leap out of the water as well as the big ones lying on the bank. Its a short and informative tour that had the kids loving being scared of crocodiles.

We where there late October at the end of the season, the water and weather are a bit warm. And the crocs are a bit lazy. We had a nice trip and did se some crocs, but not as many and as big as expected :( Did a cruise 13 years ago, that was better, but things change.

A great way to experience the amazing power of these ancient animals. The stealth with which they approach is amazing. You may also see a tustle and retreat if territory is threatened. Guides know their stuff and are able to entertain with facts and humour. An easy drive from Darwin. A stop at Wetlands lookout on the way is worthwhile.

Crocodile viewing close up, see the big crocodiles on the Adelaide River Cruises, a must do for interstate and overseas visitors alike. Best early on weekdays, but all days fine for the cruise trip. Meet Big Northern Territory Salt Water Crocodiles in their home environment. Last time I went I saw nests with the young, and mothers keeping close by... More
