We walked everywhere cos after having had fish'n'chips or everything with chips we felt like a roast dinner. One of the chefs suggested we go round to the end, to The Precinct Cafe. This was excellent but we didn't get our roast dinner!

A relaxing way to watch the sun set. Also a great spot to relax at the end of the day. One concern I had was the lack of railing around the eating area that would give safety to children. Parents be aware that if you go here with your children keep a sharp eye on them. Note from the photo... More

We walked around the precinct early one morning. The area is very clean and tidy with wide paths. There were not many people around. Very quiet.

I always enjoy going to the wharf it has a good atmosphere is great, food is good but be aware if you want to park out on the wharf you will need to be there before 5pm as the Mayor saw fit to change the parking & now it is nearly impossible to park there other than the parking it... More

When in Darwin always visit Stokes Hill Wharf for Dinner. Been going there for years as we are frequent visitors to Darwin. There are several small businesses to cater to all needs. Children can feed the fish that come to the wharf, they like chips amazing to see.

Good to do lunch ,or go late afternoon, have a wander, get something to eat and watch the sun go down .Nice and casual like most of Darwin. You might see the old pearl lugger go by.There is also a driverless bus going along the wharf,so park at the start and take the bus .

Great cafes but several shops were closed and the spa was shut for renovations. The wave pool is lovely and the whole area is really clean.

Nice location for lunch or dinner with numerous dining options. Beautiful breeze and a great place to be on a hot day. Friendly locals fishing near by. Easy walking from on site parking.

Interesting to see but extremely hot this time of year with no shade in the car park/fishing area. I wouldn't recommend to people with very young children, ours are 3 & 1 and it proved a little difficult with the unfenced sheer drop to the water. Eatery could be nice for adults without children in the dry season
