I went on a Sunday and there was a lot of food stalls compared to the clothing, jewellery and other product stalls. Of the product stalls most were clothing and jewellery and while there were a few unique items, lots of the stalls blended together. But the entertainment was good and the mood nice, so if you were with a... More

It's DAMN hot. It's got lots of trashy wares to buy. It has lots of the usual event food trucks. You can't swim at the beach. Meh.

Loved this place, great little shopping stalls and an amazing variety of food... I could have kept eating all night, I had the best Indian curry. People were chilled and I can't wait to return. ✌️

We visited the markets both Sunday and Thursday. Not many more stores on the Thursday (I thought there might have been). Awesome to get some food and watch the sunset go down. Entertainment throughout the night. Can catch a bus there from Darwin city. If you get there early is easier to wander around and then go and get some... More

Called in for a quick look around. Not very big, but what they have there is excellent. You could easily spend 2-3 hours there if you plan to eat. So many options. Well worth the effort.

I was told not to miss visiting the Mindil Beach Markets as they were the best... and I was not disappointed. Just loved all the stalls, especially all the food, some of the best I have ever tasted. Also watched the sunset over Mindil Beach which was AWESOME!!! There was also entertainment galore. The place was 'heaving'... so many people.... More

Went here on a Thursday night as I believe they are only open on Thursdays and Sunday nights during the dry season. When you first enter the smell of food hits you as there are about 25-30 food vans with all sorts of cuisine for sale, Asian, Russian, French, Greek, Thai, Vietnamese, Spanish and all sorts of other foods .... All kinds of food here. Grab something, head to the beach and eat while the sun sets. Shop handicrafts after dark. Parking is difficult, so either come early or plan on some walking from your car.
