Great view

Came here for a school trip and it was awesome. If you're a tourist it's a great stop as you get a great view of Brisbane city and its surrounds.

We spent a couple of weeks visiting our daughter who lives just outside of Brisbane. My daughter has been unwell and we needed to see and hug her. Amongst other trips, we went to MountCoot-tha. The views are spectacular. My daughter had her puppy with her. We know not everyone loves dogs and her puppy was kept on her lead.... More

The panoramic views of Brisbane and beyond are amazing. We saw this as part of our Brisbane Explorer trip. Great restaurant and gift shop. Well priced food and souvenirs. A must do in Brisbane.

You just have to drive 15 mins from the City Center to reach here - this is the USP of this place. Drive up for a quick coffee, or beer with great views. The view of the CBD from there is impeccable. The state govt/council has maintained this place quite well.

Had lunch at the cafe and enjoyed a wonderful view on a beautiful day. For the view itself, there is no cost. Parking is somewhat limited, but well worth the trip!!

But make sure you time your visit if you want good photos - avoid mid day the sun is so harsh the view is quite glaring - but if you go later you will get a fantastic view of the city and surrounds

Be sure to take your visiting family and friends to get the best view of Brisbane City and surrounds, Moreton and Stradbroke Islands. Good place to view approaching thunderstorms and fireworks in the City. The drive around the mountain is worthwhile as well to see our local television studios (Channels 7,9, 10 and ABC 2 has a site up here... More
