I went with some overseas guests and we all had a lovely stroll through the grounds. It's quite a busy place with lots of families, locals and tourists. There are places to buy food, but we took a packed lunch. Really lovely place.

We thoroughly enjoyed taking visitors from New South Wales into the city to the Roma Street Parkland. We had often driven past it, but we drove in and parked easily at the minimal cost of $1.00 an hour at the weekends - so we booked...More

If you like beauty and colour a walk through the "Roma Street Parklands" is an experience to behold. The perfumes from the large variety of flowers now on display seems to waft along with the warm spring breezes.

Wonderful park in the CBD which offers a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle. Take your binoculars for the bird life is good for an urban park.

Had a beautiful Sunday exploring the flowers, trees and bits of wildlife running around. The variety was great as were the displays. Some statues around but could use more I think.

Almost bordering onto the CBD by metres. Great place to wander and relax. Different times of the year you will get different plants flowering, but there is always the garden beds specially done all year round. Great photo ops.

It's amazing what can be done with a little effort, this use to be the worst eyesore in Brisbane, and now the whole roma street area has been transformed, lovely parklands and gardens with lots of shaded areas to have a bbq

Roma St Parklands are well worth a visit. Beautifully set out, winding pathways through wooded areas and glorious gardens. Places to sit and picnic, plenty of room for children to play. I especially loved the garden of scents and tastes. A cafe for coffee. Just...More
