We live at the coast so decided to spend a couple of days catching up with the city sights. Roma Street Parklands was one of them and we were so impressed. It was just beautiful and so well cared for . It was a very hot day so the sprinkler/misters were a welcome relief. There were quite a few gardeners... More

The parklands are well maintained with lots of different flora. There is heaps of different spots for a picnic. Bring a picnic rug and nestle down with your own basket of homemade treats. There is heaps of parking available. However if you are using the parklands for a party you will need to arrive early. There is a great website... More

This is a beautiful park; and to think that it is almost in the middle of Brisbane is just remarkable.

All the trees and schrubs were labelled and the whole Parkland was very clean and a credit to the workers

This is my local park for walks before work and during my lunchbreak. Walk through the beautiful flowers and to "get away from it all" a rainforest stroll. If you are waiting for a bus interstate or train, great place to sit and wait. Close to backpacker hostels in Upper Roma St too.

We just paid 14 dollars each for a croissant with cheese and avocado, what a rip off! They saw tourists coming! The park is lovely but bring a picnic.

What a beautiful and scenic walk through, amazing huge trees, tropical feel, water fountains and features, great spot for a walk or a quiet read.

What a gem! There are so many things to see, and there's a little train ride you can take that explains the different areas of the park. Saw various flora, and plenty of iguanas! The park is quite large, and unfortunately we couldn't see everything we wanted to (it was very hot that day!). Would definitely go back!

The Roma Street Parklands are a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and they happens to be right in the CBD (go figure). Some excellent gardens and water features, all well kept with lots of colour, and lots of water dragons every step of the way (I jumped a few times!). For tourists, there is a... More
