I know some pople think it odd but I recommend a visit to tbe largest cemetary in the south east. Some of the headstones are dated back into the 1800s. Its a real piece of history as you stroll through here.

This cemetery is so old but well looked after, if you like that kind of thing you could easily spend the whole day here and its right next door to the Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens.
Don't waste your time going. If you are a historical buff you are wasting your time. Tombstone reading is at best difficult and often impossible. Limited shade and water.
