I come to the quiet sanctuary and stroll through the history of Brisbane evident in this well tended cemetery. There are extensive paths a well dispersed seating throughout. An historic place of peace.

An overlooked attraction in Brisbane, Toowong Cemetry is not far west of the CBD and worth a visit as it is part of Brisbane's Heritage and the final resting place of many of it's earlier notable people. Parking available within the grounds. Good views of...More
