Nice walk through the mangroves with excellent views out to Moreton Bay. The track is not far from Brisbane Airport and a good place to come if you have a few hours to kill before your flight or before you return your rental car. There are some nice vantage points out to the Bay and plenty of opportunities for bird... More

Good place not far from highway. Nature walks and bike rides on offer. Take mosquito repellant early or late in day particularly.

The info centre is staffed with Terrific people who were eager to assist. Thank you Brodie and Nina. The walk was gentle, and the array of wildlife incredible. We managed to spot some tawny frogmouths and other birds. The treasure hunt for our daughter had her interested during the time we were there, and it was a definite improvement from... More

We were greeted by a friendly staff member who was informative and gave the kids a scavenger hunt to complete. There was a snake warning posted with explicit instructions of what to do if you met said snake ( which we did not). The walk we took was only about an hour and included a bird watch, boardwalk and scrubby... More

Boondall wetlands reserve has great bike/walking track that takes you to or from Nudgee beach (depending on where you start). Quite a easy ride for begginer riders or children. Suitable for both road and mountain bikes.

Great quiet place for families, kids of all ages, a quiet stroll for young lovers, a family stroll, a day out ending in a picnic, a long walk for couples, exercise for the not so young on a flat wide concrete path, no chance of tripping.... Take a water bottle, hat, MOZZIE repellant, they love all that low lying water.....sunscreen... More

Looking at some of the reviews I noticed that some relate to the boardwalk at Nudgee Beech. There are two circular walks in the area plus some other long bikeways. One is at Nudgee Beech and that's where you can see migrating birds from a special lookout and then there is the other circular walk which is the official Boondall... More

Take your mossie repellent. There are two walking tracks, a short one which is good for bird watching & looking at mangroves and the other longer one is more a cycle track through bush that ends up near the transfer station. Make sure you wear a hat if it's a hot day on that track. Worth a look to see... More
