Just a busy city street

Not much to see. Customs House probably the highlight. City skyscrapers and commercial businesses. Some cafes and shops.

Someone told us to head to Ann Street, so we did on our first day, starting at the Experience Brisbane hop-on-hop-off bus stop. The trip was enhanced the second day when we walked further to James Street, which was lovely if you like the trendy boutique shopping and coffee thing. Look out for Bakery Lane, heading off to the left... More

Having some time on our hands after parking at King George Square, my wife and I strolled along Ann Street in the morning of Thursday 14th January 2016. We had hoped to have coffee at the Sage on Ann café located in Wesley House behind the Albert Street Uniting Church. To our disappointment, the shop was closed that day since... More

There are a couple of nice cafes along here near King George Square, but it's a pretty boring street, all things considered.

Ann Street is a major street in Brisbane that runs parallel to Adelaide Street. A great place to admire many old buildings including churches. Took many photos here and it was close to my hotel. Worth a walk, even for an hour or so, you'll find plenty of diversions.

Ann Street is a place to be during the weekend as you can see people from all walks of life come to Queen Street and Ann Street to do shopping and have fun in many shopping complexes and food courts. It is also a touring attraction as some talented artists present their skills.

Took a look on a wander around Brisbane, but unless you are targeting something on this street or just like to browse shopping there is no real reason to come.

I'm sure that for the historians amongst us who are prepared to search high and low for relics hidden in cities, Ann street is great; however if you're a weary traveller looking for a particular shop ( ie, Buzz cafe in the Emporium ), it's long and hot in March and best travelled through on the local bus for a... Two churches n some statues on on one of Brisbane's busiest streets. Go to Roma street parkland instead, or south bank.
