Come and see where Australia grows most of our coffee, banana's and sugar cane. Heaps and heaps to do out here for a day or two depending on your individual taste. Coffee, chocolate, wine, fruit farms. historic towns, dairies and outback country charm.

We drove the loop through the Atherton Tablelands via Cairns to Mareeba & Port Douglas. Highly recommend driving up from Cairns via Port Douglas for impact of scenery. For a break stop off at the Coffee Works in Mareeba .

There is a multitude of things to see and do on the tablelands. Nerada Tea, Chocolate Factory, Distillery, Waterfalls, scenery. Just to name a few. There are some very good restaurants and cafes. Definitely worth a day visit. Very easy to drive yourself
