Driving through unspoilt towns, going on beautiful walks in the rainforest. The highlight has to be Millaa Millaa Falls. Although the list is endless. If you're lucky, you'll spot a platypus in the dam.

Atherton Tablelands, Lake and Paronella Park a real must do whether by bus or car. So interesting, beautiful scenery and history, plenty of paces to stop for a rest and to eat.

We went on a daytrip (rather evening) with wait-a-while and had a glorious day. We saw platypus, tree kangaroos, carpet python, rat kangaroo, possums and so much more. Had we known about this place during our planning, we would have spend more time here!

Basing myself in Yungaburra I enjoyed the nearby waterfalls, sampled the local produce, observed the platypuses at play, walked the Avenue of Honour, strolled through the national parks and tasted local wines. Days were pleasantly cooler than on the coast and the food was superb.

Plenty of waterfalls, creeks, and green hills. You can enjoy natural wonders like the Rainforest. I saw platypus and casuarios in there. Had a great time!
