If you're staying in Port Douglas it is well worth making a visit to the Sunday Market in Anzac Park. It open s at 8am and closes at about 1pm and has a beautiful setting as it looks across the bay. There are a lot of craft stalls (ceramics, wood, coconut, textiles, etc.), jewellery and clothing stalls, plus some good... More

Every time we visit Port Douglas the market is a must. It offers genuine craft ware, home wares, clothing, jewellery and skincare made by the stall holders which is not common these days with all markets. Unique designs, fabulous photographs and prints that can be shipped home, wonderful home made food, sauces, relishes, even coconut faces which would look good... More

This was a recommended event on a Sunday and as a tourist you always wonder - but this was a good market with a good mix of visitors and locals frequently the myriad of different stalls A great way to spend an hour or so in a Sunday and well worth a visit

Our market experience was great and the locals are super friendly. The markets have a great variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, arts, souvenirs and various knick knacks. The markets were small in size due to us visiting in the 'low season'.

This was the first time I went to these markets and to be honest was a little disappointed. I suppose I expected them to be a little larger and to have more tasty food stalls. All of the stalls had hand made items and some of them quiet quirky which I loved. One thing these markets are surrounded by some... More

Having been to Mossman market the day before I expected something similar, how wrong I was. The were stalls sporting all manner of goods from clothing to hand made brass signs. There were a few stalls selling fruit we went to one selling pineapples with an attached stall selling crushed pineapple in a cup at $3 - 6 a shot... More

My partner and I visited the Port Douglas Markets, this isn't our first time there but it will probably be the last, this has definitely dwindled over the times, very disappointing.

Lovely place for a Sunday morning stroll. Yummy treats and snacks such as icecream. Local products for sale including lovely ceramics, skincare, clothing etc. the coconut stand is very popular too and always a line! I would highly recommend coming here.

I like the idea that the arts and crafts are homemade. There still looked like a bit of commercial jewellery but other than that it was authentic produce. In hot weather enjoy one of the fruity drinks on ice.

Went early to avoid the heat. But this was a great market. Full of local arts, crafts, and food. We left with a lot of great stuff!
