A good zoo for insight and close proximity of Australian wildlife. The various pens and cages allow you to walk through in natural settings. Feed the kangaroos. Watch the feeding of the crocs. A great morning out for all the family.

We went on a really hot day so would recommend some misting fans through out the park so you can cool down and maybe some free drinking water facilities as one of us ended up with heat stroke after visiting the park. The park itself...More

We have been here a number of times now and will be back again. It seems to be a nice environment for the animals, plenty of up close encounters to be had. And, QLD is the only state in Australia you can hold a Koala,...More

We initially came here for their famous “breakfast with the birds” and ended up staying for a couple of hours exploring. Breakfast itself is probably not worth it. You can easily get food on their cafe yourself when you need to and eat in the...More

We did the breakfast with the birds and to be honest the food and food options were not as good or as varied as when we visited a few years back. It was decent but nothing special. The park itself however is a fun experience...More

If staying in Pt Douglas I would highly recommend a couple of hours viewing and learning about the many unique animals. The staff is very friendly, low key and knowledgeable, There's also a small cafe and gift shop.

We found this to be a good 1 to 1 1/2 hour experience. Many birds and animals available to see up close in nicely done habitats. The park closes at 5:00pm. I suggest arriving early in the day before the creatures take their afternoon siestas...More

I would also like to know the answer to the question above, as I am trying to figure out my Australia itinerary. Holding/getting a photo with a koala is high on my list, and it would work best with my travel schedule if I... More
