Not too far outside of Townsville, is this great spot to hike/walk through the rainforest. Kept our eyes open for cassowaries, but we weren't lucky enough to see any. Glad we got to experience this great location.

What a fantastic spot for a refreshing swim and picnic. A few stairs but otherwise right next to the car park, toilets and picnic ground. Would definitely go back and recommend the drive.

From Townsville the drive will take you the best part of two hours but man what a drive. Once you leave the Bruce highway the road narrows and gets very windy, however you start at standard Aussie bush and climb up into tropical rain forest...More
