On a clear day, you can see for miles; including the sights around Townsville. Just up the track there is a heritage homestead where you can sample high tea and other sumptuous fair.

If heading up or down the range this lookout is an easy stop. Beautiful views out over the valley to the ocean and is just stunning if the region has had a bit of rain.
