You can spend a pleasant hour strolling along the marina looking at bakeries, art and clothing shops, groceries and small restaurants. The lorikeets and other birds are beautiful and so fun to watch!

The marina is the hub of the resort, with excursion boats mixing it with a wide range of privately owned ones. Loads of restaurants. Clean, pretty, exactly what you would expect.

Front st is where you will find all the eateries, including the bakery, and shopping. Beautiful views of sunset. gateway to Hamilton island.

If you come by ferry from Airlie Beach your introduction to Hamilton Island is their beautiful marina. As you leave the marina you are right on Front Street with all its delightful eating places.

daughter booked an all day snorkling tour as we were on a cruise. it was a bit pricey but she really enjoyed it.

As already mentioned there is no where that I noticed as well. There is heaps of free public transport that takes you all over the island however they do not let you take luggage on board. There is a place that hires golf... More
