A beautiful boat, fantastic crew and gorgeous sunset. Plenty to drink and nibble. I hope to do this again someday

Unfortunately the weather put a spanner in the works for our sailing adventure. However the team arranged an alternative route so that we could spend half the day sailing in calmer waters and then hitch a ride with the faster, dive boat to Whitehaven beach which was a good option.i would definitely recommend the sailing option over a reef trip... Our 6th trip on "On The Edge". It's always a pleasure, even when it's a little bumpy. The crew are swift, attentive and knowledgable. See you next year!

We went to Great Barrier with Explore to snorkel and scuba dive. Boat is reasonable and best of all is not crowded so we were able to spread out. The crew were friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks guys we truly had a wonderful day on the reef with you. Note. There are other possibly cheaper alternatives. Don't do it. These... More

We had a great day with the Explore crew sailing and snorkeling Whitehaven beach. We chose the sail boat so it was less "touristy" (we had only 40 people on board versus 200+ for Cruise Whitsundays) -- the boat itself is fantastic and perfect for the short Whitehaven experience. Highly recommend Explore if you're on Hamilton Island!

There are really only two operators on Hamilton Island who can offer a glimpse of the Great Barrier Reef, and Explore is the superior of the two. They offer smaller size tours -- we did two different ones and had 52 and 30 people on boat, respectively -- as opposed to the competition which books 150 on their boat. With... More

Great staff, views and food and drink. Was a little cloudy on our trip but would be stunning on a clear night for sunset. We had a great time.

If you are looking for a full day out on the water with a great crew and awesome boat this is it. The Edge was a fantastic experience, the crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating and the trip is run impeccably. The boat is beautiful and the ride is fun and has everything from cruising to larger waves. The day... More

We joined the 70 ft sailing catamaran "On the Edge" for the Explore group's Sail and Snorkel trip from Hamilton Island. It was a glorious day but this meant there was little wind for sailing so we had to motor for most of the day. Captain Stu' and his team were very relaxed and welcoming and explained the plan for...
