You just can’t visit Australia without a trip to Whitehaven Beach. It just has to be experienced to be believed and the photos just don’t do it justice. While you are there you must also do the walk up to the lookout above Hill Inlet....More

Absolutely loved the beach and water. Although stinger suits are recommended we had a great swim without the stinger suit as there was nothing in the water. The water was so clear and lovely and the sand so nice and soft. It's definitely a place...More

Crystal clear water, but stinger suits are advised. We were able to spot a small ray fish. However, you may stop bigger ones if you go a little inside the water for a swim. Try to be amongst the first ones to reach in morning...More

Yes - OK, it’s gorgeous but with so many trips going there daily, the beach is nowhere near as white and clean as some of the beaches we saw south of Sydney! Hyams Beach at Jervis Bay near Shoalhaven was so much more stunning. The...More

Worth a visit when you're going around whitsundays! Clear water and a good area to relax and enjoy a sunny day.

I did the half day cruise to Whitehaven Beach from Hamilton Island. The boat ride there was a little choppy (if you get sea sick), but the way back was fine. Apart from that, the 7km of silica sand and unbelievable blue ocean is something...More

When visiting the Whitsundays, Whitehaven should be on your list. This beach is absolutely amazing with 80 degree Fahrenheit water and extremely soft sand.

Its truly a paradise, sand is so white and fine, sea is greenish blue. Although we went there in high tide, size of beach should be bigger in low tides, but the beach is still amazing A must go in whitsundays!

This beach is so pristine it looks like a photshopped ad. I literally could not believe it was real. It was a bit expensive to get to but definitely worth it.
