Hill Inlet is a viewing platforms, you must been there, if you have a chance. Since you can see the overall view of Great Barrier Reef. If you want to go to Hill Inlet, you need to take the boat several minutes, arriving near the the shore of the island, which is not the sand we walk on, actually it... More

We sailed to Hill Inlet with very friendly crew. Had to get a small dingy to land on the shore, adding to the adventure. Walked through the not so difficult wooded paths to the view point to see the marble effect of the sea and beach. I thought the photo's I had seen prior to going had been formatted to... More

Loved an amazing view and well priced cocktails! Few different types to choose from and lots of shaded tables.

Visited it as part of a stop on my sailing tour of the Whitsundays. This was in Mar/Apr 2005. Unfortunately once we had caught the dingy to shore, it began to rain. This somewhat ruined the experience. It was a great location with amazing views.

Most beautiful beach I have seen. It... More

This is one of the most amazing views I have ever seen. Enjoyable to watch the tides change. The walk up was enjoyable. The water was crystal clea,r you could watch sting rays from above. I enjoyed both hill inlet and whitehaven beach but if I had to choose i enjoyed hill inlet more!

The most picturesque beach I've ever seen. I have hiked and also flown over in a helicopter and this place seriously takes your breath away. An absolute must when visiting the Whitsundays. BEAUTIFUL
