Josephine's Gallery is a 'MUST SEE' whilst in Coober Pedy. Wander through the impressive ABORIGINAL ART GALLERY, play a DIDGERIDOO, choose a beautiful OPAL from our extensive range or KISS A KANGAROO. Our passion is raising orphaned kangaroos and we offer you the opportunity to see these amazing creatures up close and maybe even hold a baby. Feeding times daily at 12 noon and 5:30pm. Don't be late!

There is a good range of art work presented but not sure of pricing. We were there for 15 minutes and unfortunately virtually ignored by the proprietor. So left. The two kangaroos out the rear seemed well kept but their enclosure was too small for...More

My 10 year old was delighted to kiss a kangaroo at the session. We got to pat a baby orphaned kangaroo and learned a lot about the program. Their animals were treated with such kindness and respect and were not forced to do anything.

I had noticed a sign outside this establishment that they took in orphaned Kangaroos as a sideline. For city slickers this would be a unique experience & so when I passed just on one of the advertised feeding times I was intrigued & went in....More
