An Underground church named after the Catacombs in Rome. A place of serenity where week by week we tell others the great news that Jesus still forgives sin for those who seek him.

The minister showed us how it started originally as a dugout but the church purchased it in the early part of digging it out so it was completed especially for the church

It was a unique setting for an informal service and the people were friendly and welcoming. The cross and pulpit were made from local trees.

Friendly local lady explained the history of this church and how it had evolved over time. A great example of the CP locals adapting to their environment and their ingenuity.

This place is very interesting and has a great example of how they create the air flow stacks up through the rock to the fresh air above. Take the time and pop in for visit.
